I recently picked up a framus Cobra and have been comparing it to my salvation mamba. Let me start by saying I like the notch engaged on the mamba but the notch switch on the framus is ridiculous.
I just posted a topic of the notch switch on sevenstring.org so I figured I would talk about it compard to the mamba over here.
The notch switch on the Framus is the most useless freature on an amp ever. It takes way too much mids out and adds too much treble mess and fizz.
With the notch engaged and the mids all the way up on the framus it still doesn't have enough mids to be even considered scooped mids.
But on the mamba with the notch engaged and the mids at 2 it has plenty of cut. Big thumbs up to salvation on this module.
