g-system as channel switcher

Is anyone using the TC electronics G-System to switch preamps in either an M4 or an RM4? I am currently using a nova system which works like a charm, but I'm interested in upgrading to the G System. I am also thinking of moving to a dual channel Egnater M4, so I'd love to hear from owners of both systems.

If the G-System puts out MIDI Program or CC change, it should be no problem
