General suggestions needed, plz.

Guitars are: All mahogany PRS SEs with Lace Transenor type pickups (lots of defintion and dynamics)

Cleans are: Egnater Twin module into MB Fifty/Fifty with blackplate 6L6s into Weber California w. AlNiCo mag.

Dirties are: Either Egnater Twin module into MB F/F with 5881, C standard
or Egnater SL into MB F/F with 5881 into Weber 1225s (?) (got one w cer. mag now + a Silver Bell, but in future: who knows...)

Thing is with the dirty sound I would like the speakers and/ or the 5881s to compress rather early compared to the clean sound - they're to sound quite pushed. Should I get softer power valves, AlNiCo speakers - or both - or do you have any other suggestions?

My misstake - we're talking about a higher gain current, not a higher valve dissipation.
