UPDATE: this Ibanez S is now on egay http://cgi.ebay.com/Upgraded-Ibanez-S_W0QQitemZ250248244346QQihZ015QQcategoryZ33043QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I'm sorry if I should have done this in one post, but two different pieces of gear=two different posts imho, now that that's out of the way...
Sorry again about no pics, if someone wants to tell me how to post them, otherwise, I can email 'em to you. The finish is a silver sparkle.
For sale is a upgraded Ibanez S series guitar. The reason I'm trying to sell it is because it was an impulse buy, and the guitar is just not my style; I thought a D tuned guitar would be good, but I find this guitar collecting dust... It's a standard S: mahogany body, HSH, bolt-on maple neck, rosewood board, mop bird inlays with abalone at 12th fret, xj frets, wizard II neck w/ satin finish, original edge tremolo with locking nut. This guitar is in excellent condition; the only imperfections are a bit of tarnish, mostly on the locking nut, a dab of superglue around one of the straplock holes (Dunlop chrome), and the middle pickup cover (plastic) cracked around one of the screws, but I can fix it with superglue or a new one can be ordered.
Now for the upgrading: new wiring, new pots, new input, new knobs, basically all the guts are new; I also installed new humbuckers: GFS extreme rails, which are ceramic blade humbuckers that have the output of an EMG with all the tone of a passive pu. They really rock, and the neck clean is actually quite good for ceramic pu's, much better than any Dimarzio or Duncan ceramic pu's.
Whatever you think is a fair price... Give me your offers...
