Issues with series and parallel loops

Hey i just got an rm100 and im trying to use the loops.
First off the series loop drops the volume to nothing almost and if you turn it up it crackels and sounds horrible. Very tinny and distorted. Then the parallel loop barely works. It doesnt mix much in then it starts to distort really bad when i turn in up more. The amp is kind of popping and crackeling a bit too. Very frustrating. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

out of curiosity... what are you running through the loop(s)?

Im running a line 6 reverb and a chorus/echo pedal.

The loops are really designed for line-level (i.e., rackmount) effects, not for instrument-level (i.e., pedal) effects. Try picking up an EbTech line level shifter... it should solve your problem.

Well actually I have an alesis quadraverb that i ran through it also and it did the same thing. I had a mesa and ran all the effects through it and never had a problem. Sounded great. So im not sure why it sounds so bad.
