Just a thought - feedback wanted

I now have contact with the Texas/Louisiana Randall rep (thanks gg510). Was thinking about trying to organize a Randall/Egnater tone fest in Austin were we could use my bands rehearsal space. Since I've got a Mod50 and a RM50 head everyone could bring modules and/or speaker cabs for swapping and comparing.

Hopefully I could get the Randall rep to attend and bring some modules as well and maybe a Washburn with Eggie pups too.

Thoughts? How many would attend?

Oh good deal Ned, I'm glad Sean finally contacted you! I told him about all the work you've done for Randall pretty much for free so maybe they'll hook you up a bit! You're a good guy! 8) If I were closer to Texas I would love to participate, bit of a hike from the East Coast though sadly!

Actually, when are you planning on holding this Ned? I'm thinking about MAYBE swinging out there for summer NAMM to hang out with Sean so if it's not going to happen until the same time maybe I could get off around that time and make it still! Any excuse to hang out with my MTS bros! 8)

Looks like enough takers to get this off the ground Ned. Very cool, I'm really excited about it. Let me know if there is anything I can do here locally to support the event. Really ANYTHING ... you name it I'll bring it. Beer, monitors, a drummer and bass player ... whatever.

Also, if you do this around NAMM, I'm begging one of you guys to get me in. It's been 10 years since the last time I went. I would LOVE it!

I should be able to come down that weekend. I'm waiting for a start date from Lockheed still, but hopefully I can work a few 10 hour days that week so I can take off on Friday without using any vacation! Flextime FTW! :lol: I'll give you a definite once I get my start date and speak with my manager, but it's looking like 80% sure I can go as it stands! I'll be looking at Friday-Sunday/Monday depending on vacation/work hours so I'll get back to you ASAP with that Ned! Looking forward to it though! 8)
