Has anybody out there directly compared a Mr. Scary module to an SL+ with the tone stack and .001u cap mods?

Also, does anybody have a top side picture of a Mr. Scary with the tube shield removed? I have a hunch the circuits are very similar.

Perhaps this will help - it's the Mr. Scary that I currently have for sale:

Hey Scooter, thanks for chipping in.
Well, it definately has the changed midrange cap/resistor. Interesting black bass capacitor there 2. Btw, how do you think it sounds against the Sl+?

Thanks for the high quality pic, Scooter! I just compared it to my SL+.....the layout is VERY similar.

Personally, I think it's a totally different animal compared to the SL+ even if the layout is similar.

Totally different than the SL+ or modded SL+? Because IMO the SL+ and modded SL+ are two totally different animals.

I'm comparing it to a modded SL+ (I never used an unmodded - I bought my SL+ used and it was modded already.)

Is there by any chance anybody with a good picture of the Grail mod ?

It would be much interesting to compare it with MrScary.

I have all 3 modules sl+-- mr. scary-- grail I would have to say the sl+ is my favorite right now, As I'm more use to the marshall sound any way. Mr. scary is preaty cool also, but it has a mutch darker bottom end. and probubly my second favorite is the grail, i like how thick it gets, sounds cool. over all they all sound good. 8)
