XTC Description: This mod is a tour de force in gain staging and its impact on tone. Beginning with the classic purity and bark of the Plexi mode, we journey through the organic overdrive of the Blue channel and end on the greasy high gain bliss of the Red channel. The Structure switch is available in both the Blue and Red channels. It restructures the gain staging, offering additional saturation and compression for a wider range of gain tones than you could ever ask for.

Includes base mods, faceplate, Plexi mode switch, Red/Blue channel switch, Structure switch, LED (your choice of water-clear blue, red, orange, white or green) and white Egnater-style knobs.

Nice work once again. Red with structure off seems to sound fairly similar to my JF-modded XTC, but there are sure loads more tones in this clone mod.

You are 100% correct on all counts sir. This full blown Replica Mod is a very cool module and an excellent example of how gain staging impacts tone.

The mics are Sennheiser E906 set flat....59RR vid will be soon...As will Super Clean!
