Being a Steve Vai fan, I had Rob build me two modules that cover the three channels of a Carvin Legacy. They are called the VAI and the VAI-Agra. The VAI is the clean channel, which I really love. It is way different from any of the other clean modules I have. it is "Chimey" like a Vox, but a different kind of "Chimey," maybe a combination of a Plexi set for clean, a clean AC-30 and an Orange....hard to describe. The VAI-AGRA is the 2nd channel and has a nice crunch. The clean channel, with the gain dimed moves into the territory of the second channel with the gain down, so the 2nd channel starts out nice and crunchy and then gets nasty. it has a boost switch that then moves it into the Legacy lead channel sound. With my Music Man, it sounds great. However, when I tried it with my JEM (w/Gravity storm Pups) it was spot on effortless Vai tones, ala his newer live stuff. I just wanted to do a public appreciation for Rob and what he put into this. Thanks Rob!

i saw those on FB, pretty cool. I have never heard the Legacy clean, but I would describe the clean on my Carvin Quad-X in a similar fashion. They do that very well. I rethought my dual mono dream rig to include the Quad-X as the clean channels, and that frees up more crunchy slots!

Hopefully there will be some soundclips coming from your new toy?
