We seem to have been doing so many Feline Lions that people might be forgiven for thinking we don't do anything else.
Here is proof if it were needed that we do do make other shapes
(warning - this is a DOUBLE NGD!)
These two have been lurking in our "On the bench section" for way too long
Anyway one of our previous custom build customers who already has two of our beauties was looking for a hardtail strat and saw that we had one being built and asked if we would finish it off for him in a colour of his choice.
Here is what he asked us for and we nailed it exactly right for him.
And whilst we were sending stuff to be painted we thought why not get that Tabby Hybrid we had in the works up to speed as well and do it the same colour. I already knew we were going to fit a tortoiseshell pickguard - custom made with a tele pickup in the bridge position, and thought the tortoiseshell would look great on the aged white finish.
Our Tabby Hybrid is a subtle melding together of Tele and strat shapes. The body is about 70% tele but the lower horn is closer to a strat one - so we could drop a regular strat pickguard in place. Add some strat like contours and the comfort level increases a lot
There are some similarities in spec in terms of timber but also some differences too
