Hey guys,
I have some weird high pitched noise in my rig ..
It's very prominent when the ground lift is off on the RM4, when the ground is lifted it is almost gone but still there very softly.
It's like the sound from an old TV, high buzz.
It is also gone when the RM4 is disconnected from the GSP, so there's definitly something in the combination of those two, is this a ground loop? (I thought that would be more the buzzy low pitched or white noise)
Any idea how I might solve this?
I've thought of disconnecting the ground of the two wired that connect the GSP and the RM4 at one plug.
Could that help at all?
The gear:
Samson powerconditioner
Digitech GSP1101
Randall RM4 (in GSP loop)
Lexicon MX200 (in RM4 loop)
I'll record a sample of the noise later on..
