Presence control

Hi. I read a thread here about the presence control on some MTS amps having no effect until 3 or 4 o'clock. Checked my RM20 and that is definitely the case. What can I do about this ? Thanks

Can you get the sound you want from it at those levels?

Not really. Having the presence that high sounds like it's only increasing the 6 or 7 khz area and sounds harsh and nasty. I can get good tones leaving it where it was at about 10 o'clock. But if I can do anything to make it better I would.
