hi all my question is about tubes inside the rm 50 ,, there are 3 tubes inside
with a metal sleeve around them and two of them looke a like and the third one is different ? i would like to know what they are ? and how do we know if they are still working or not? thanks

im not talking about the 2 big ones el34 or 6l6 etc...

One is the first stage of the preamp, one is the phase inverter and the last one is for the effects loop. There should be metal shields over them. They all should be 12ax7's stock.

Is there sound coming out of the amp and are they glowing?

on this same subject:

I assume the one closest to the front of the chassis is the input tube (v1)

which exactly is which regarding the two together closest to the rear of the amp?

Been asked 10x times.... yes, the head v1 is closest to the input, tube closest to power tubes is the Phase Inverter and the one 'in the middle' is the FX loop buffers.
