Picked up a used RM100 last week w/a plexi and Mr. Scary module. Still waiting on my ordered blackface. Went to the church early to play before everyone got there and to try replacing two tubes with jj6l6's. Installed a quad of jj el34l's last week and biased at 43ma. Put the 6l6's in the inside spots and turned on. Let it warm a couple of min and hit the standby. Before I could start to re-bias I got an led on one of the 6l6's. Would the higher bias pop a tube that fast? Of course couldn't find any 250ma fuses so I got a 200. Put the 34's back in and blew the fuse within a couple of min. The 200ma. Not black this time just open. Does this sound familiar? Just hoping I didn't buy a problem, or create one myself. Thanks for any help! Frank

The 250ma fuses were too small from the factory,if you want to call Randall and confirm this after I tell you, go ahead, you need to run at least .315 amp fuses in the power tube section,my .025 amp fuses were blowing constantly, this is the fix. Also they changed the main power fuse to a 10 or 12 amp 5x20mm fuse, just in case yours starts blowing.

I'm using .315 and even .400 are acceptable according to some reports. I posed the question to Bruce and RD/Rich and both gave good advice quickly.

I was blowing the .250 fuses after a few hours of play. Bought my LB head in Nov 06. Turned on warmed up and started playing and poof. There have been others as well with this issue.
