RM22 Effects Loop/Footswitch & Blackface Farting Issue!

When I have the effects loop engaged, I can't channel switch with the footswitch, and the Blackface module is farting even on low volumes. Any ideas why this is happening?

I'm running a Vader 2x12 capable of handling 240w BTW, so the farting issue can't be with underpowered speakers.

What do you have in the loop?

I have run my RM20 into my Carvin 4x12 with 400watt handling with no issues of under powered. So I would rule that out.

I meant can't be the speakers, sorry about that.

I've just got a volume pedal at my house right now, so that's what I tried in the loop, as a pseudo attenuator. The pedal works perfectly in other situations and loops.

I've never even looked at a RM22 but doesn't it have the loop buffer tube like the RM100? Maybe try another 12ax7 in there??
