I have a 3 button crate footswitch that came with an old head I have. 2 of the buttons are link and output through a 1/4 trs cable. My thinking is if I get a 1/4" trs splitter that splits the signal, that is tip/sleeve and ring/sleeve(insert cable I believe is what it's called), onto 2 different paths/cables then I can use this one footswitch for both channel switching and boosting while still allowing me to use the extra button for whatever.
I realize the boost is full blast when its on but if this works I can always throw a pot onto that circuit.
Is this feasible or am I totally off the mark on this one?
