So I ordered my Lynch Box and Cab w/ Super V, XTC, and 1086 modules 2 weeks ago. I was told it would show up in a week. So far all I've got is the XTC module. What really sucks is that I've sold my other amp to help pay for this one and now I'm stuck with just playing through Guitar Rig 2 on my laptop. 2 weeks is nothing to a lot of people I know - but patience was never a strong point of mine - especially when I was told a week tops. I think a big part of it is that I am starting to have some doubts... I was playing a Marshall JCM 800 w/ a 1960 cab. I ran my Crybaby 95Q Wah into a Keeley Twilight Zone (a modded Metal Zone - its a Metal Zone with mids and I loved it) into my Boss DD-3 Delay into the amp. That 1 simple but powerful tone was what I was happy with - and I have been happy with it for a long time. As they say, "If it ain't broke - don't fix it". However, after reading and hearing the hype, I decided to try something new & differant and take a leap (and an expensive 1 at that). The local guitar shop had just become a Randall dealer and didn't have any gear in yet and I had never actually heard 1 - so it was REALLY a gamble. So anyways, in a week or so (who knows?!?!) you may be seeing my Lynch Box on ebay if I'm dissapointed. Hopefully, it will be all worth it because it will be 1 expensive mistake on my behalf if not.

you won't be disappointed with the modules you picked (although I haven't tried the Super V). If you ARE disappointed initially, its just a matter of playing around with the tones until you can find what you like.

I've been waiting 6 weeks for my Plexi module so far.I wish Randall would hurry up a bit with their production.

2 weeks?

I ordered an M4 at the end of May, it arrived in customs last friday so by the time I actually have it in my hands it would have been 5 months... for an order that was ment to take 6-8 weeks. I sat through the 4 months pretty comfortably, but I started having some doubts...

Good things come to those who wait... I hope

I've been using guitar rig for so long without any other form of amplification that I am actually starting to think it sounds ok... If the M4 does arrive shortly I could pass the point of no return and be stuck in terrible-tone land for the rest of eternity.

Im not complaining, just hopefully lifting some of your doubts.

Ziggy, glad they pushed it over to you man, I know you've been waiting! Don't worry, hook it up to a quality power amp (I would suggest a VHT 2/50/2  ) and you will be in love! I'm running mine through an EarCandy BuzzBomb and I really dig the tone! Sounds good on every module I run! 8)

thanks man!

It arrived yesterday and sounds great! I'm stuck playing it through a cab simulator in Guitar rig 2, but even with that it sounds fantastic! I just can't get enough of the Dlx module.

a VHT 2502 is definately on the cards, EL34s in one side and 6L6 in the other... Tonal bliss! :D
