Running two amps into one cab (with two paralleled inputs)

So, I'm working on a lower power, smaller rig.

I've been playing a Jim Root Dark Terror through whatever cabs are kicking about the jam room.
But just picked up the cab that goes with it.
It's a 2x12" with two jacks on the back - parallel ones, for daisy chaining etc

My further plan is to run two amps - and am currently making a head box for the amp section of my RM20 combo to try pairing with a Marshall or Vox sound

Will I be able to just run one head into each input, or will that cause some kind of "crosstalk" and hurt the amp heads?

The cab is going to need to be rewired for stereo and each amp will need to feed it's own speaker. Do not try to connect both amps to the parallel jacks. I just had two different customers with Mesa Boogie heads damaged so badly by this that both were beyond financially-reasonable repair. Another option is a switching speaker jack plate like a Marshall 1960 plate to allow for either stereo or mono operation.

That's what I thought. Hopefully the hole in the back of the cab is the same size as a marshall or other stereo jackplate
