Well, for folk/death metal it gets tough....That particular genre, whilst growing in popularity amongst angry but centered teens is yet to be addressed in a modular fashion...You may wish to consider something entirely different for your folk tones... :D

Thanks mate.
No none of that new teen djent crap.
Real music, real tone.
Think Opeth I guess.
I got the Stonerverb the other day for my rhythm tone and its great for the music.
So essentially it doesnt have to be "death".

Well, I'd say you're looking for a module that covers a lot of ground but can get pretty distorted. Bogner Ecstasy based, cleans to all out assault with a great lead tone. I enjoy my JF XTC with 3-way tight switch :D

So I listened to Opeth. Great band! I have not heard a Legend, but have been thinking of getting one. The problem with the Legacy from what both Anthony and Rob have said (if I am getting it right...) is that it is actually three different preamps. So you can get that clean tone or one of two lead tones. From my understanding it would take two Legend modules to do what Opeth does if you are trying to go from that nice clean thing they do to the gainier stuff. I was wondering if a Mark X wouldn't do that nice lead tone. Sometimes he really has a nice Carlos Santana type sustain and then noticed that he uses a PRS. Maybe a clean Legend and a Mark X? Or commission Rob to do some kind of Laney maybe?

The Carvin Legacy, is the world's darkest amp. I had a Legacy 3 and hated it. Even with the presence and treble cranked, it was too dark. For a metal lead? No way in hell would I recommend it! If you were looking for a great Jazz fusion lead, I'd totally recommend one.

As for the 5150. I have the JF version and it's similar to the Peavey's, which most folks have played. I haven't played the salvo version, but I hear its like a Salvado Dlx, but with more gain.

I'd be interesting in checking out a JF Quickmod or an Ultralead for your lead tone as it would be different from the orange.

thanks for the advice guys.
I'll broaden my horizons and check some more out too.

I'd say try out the S1S0 or,Benzin... Essentially it is in your playing/hands!

For the info I love all genres of metal including death and I djent haha

Thanks rick nasty. I'm thinking s1s0..
me too, I Just can't get behind djent haha.
Apart from Vihldjarta and what a djent band to like!
maybe it will grow on me.

Can't go wrong with the S1S0! The first Salvation mod I got and still a favorite. I have to be careful.
I never Know when the Mamba will come for me!
