Last year I bought an RM100, the model i got was damaged so I got AMS to send me another one, I was able to try both the units they sold with the Blackface, Clean, Plexi, Ultra, Recto (at the time) and XTC modules, to be honest I wasn't impressed then so i sent it all back... now I have recently decided to try again...
I got my RM4 a few days ago, and with the current shortage of available modules so far all I have been able to get is the Treadplate, tonight I finally hooked it up with the Mesa/Boogie Fifty/Fifty power amp that I got on ebay for like 400 bucks... so far I am in heaven. I played it tonight through my 1x12 recording cab that has a Peavey Sheffield 1290 in it, and through my Peavey Supreme cab loaded with a different model of Sheffields.
I have the XTC on order from sweetwater music (it was shipped to them last week and should get to me later this week or early next) I ordered an Ultra XL today and am thinking about getting a Blackface to round out my set up (for the time being) I can't wait to hook it up with my Boss GT-Pro, Isp Decimator, and MXR KFK EQ through the Mesa Fifty/Fifty into my Behringer cab loaded with Hellatone V30's from Avatar speakers!
I think this may be the rig for me!
