In the manual, it states a number of reasons why you need to bring your Syn-2 to qualified service personnel. Item F in the list:

Is this accurate I have always changed my own preamp tubes in other amps and I always believed that they did not need biasing. Is there something unique about the Syn-2? Is this referring to the single preamp tube on the syn-2 or is it including modules?
