SYN1 vs SYN2 Sag Control

Anyone else have both of these to compare?

The SYN2 audio cuts out with higher setting of the SAG control (say 9-10 o’clock and higher with high output pickups) but the SYN1 does not...it kind of compresses.

I’m thinking my syn2 is faulty.

My SYN2 does the same, hence the fact mine is always set to zero.

I'm unsure what they were going for with this but I'm pretty sure crap tremlo was not it!

I was interested in SYN stuff partially because of the sag control....When I had a SYN2 I experienced the same as JKD...

It's interesting the SYN2's reacts differently that the SYN1's - you would have thought they would be the same circuit?

I will have to check mine out when I get home. I've never noticed anything like this before. Then again, I don't really have any high output pickups either.

Finally got around to messing with mine and I don't seem to have this issue. When I crank my sag control wide open it just sounds kind of…saggy...

Check the FX loop button level on the back, i has the same issue with high gain settings, so i set it to LOW
