Hi all- New to the forum and new Randall owner...Been through a lot of amps, am loving the RM100 so far. Anyone know if the TC Electronic Nova system can switch channels on a Randall RM100? Anyone use this with MTS amps before?

Yes, it can. You need to program the Nova with the proper MIDI map which you can find stickied on the forum here. I have set up a Nova System before and personally use a G system to do this. It isn't at all hard. Instructions are on page 21 of the Nova manual BTW.

Peace, Joshua

Thanks, will look over that sticky...G system is what I want to get eventually...Big bucks but seems to be worth it.

That is a great deal. If I can find one around 7 or bills, I would probably do it. Does the G System crush the Nova system? Worth the extra dough? And does it play "nice" with the RM modular stuff?

Plays perfectly with MTS stuff. As far as which is better i can't say. The G System does not have distortion effects. But i personally think the effects that it has are superior the the Nova. I also think the G system is more versatile. It allows placement of certain effect up front and others in the loops which is just :D wonderful. If i had to choose on for myself I'd definitely go G system.

I've had them both... Still have the G-system. It's been the heart of my rig for about 7yrs. There is no doubt it is superior to the nova system.... But I did like the gain on the nova. I'm contemplating adding the nova distortion pedal they make. It's supposed to integrate nicely into the G-sys. I will "2nd" the advice to find one used. You won't regret it!
