I'm not familiar with a U2-mod version but I can say great things about the latest update to the MatchVox which is version II. It's basically everything you love about the original module and an AC30/DC30 amp but the Master Volume Bypass makes it really cool.If I have to pick a gripe with this mod it's that Antonin nor Rob currently offer a version where you can blend/jumper the channels like many of the actual amps that have four inputs. That's just me splitting hairs though
