It is my understanding that Bruce Egnater created the Randall modular amp line.

Does anyone know what Randall modules, if any, are actually Bruce's designs?

I was under the impression Bruce just sold off the blueprints and legal right to create and Randall went from there (?) The Egnater modules have a much different character & feel to them

Keep in mind, I know nothing (this should be my signature)

then the question stands, did he just sell the blueprints for the system or did it include some models..?

And did he "sell the blueprints" and a one off fee for the rights to the system
Or is it a licensing deal? (I'm curious too)

I'm glad both Egnater and Randall both make similar product and that there are little differences between the two (more to chose from!)

But amp designs are usually pretty similar with a few component tweaks making a lot of difference in the sound - that is why Egnater uses the same circuit board for most of the Egnater mods and Randall use the same circuit board for most of the Randall mods (and other modders use those same boards for the unique designs they make) .

If memory serves me well, Jeff Hilligan in a different thread, said it was a licensing agreement.

In some recent past communication with Bruce, he offered up this info:

"I am not really affiliated with Randall or their production. We do license our patented modular technology to them but that is the extent of my involvement."
