i?m going to change all of my preamp tubes but i?d like some help ( setup for each model : gain,bright,bass,mid,treble,vol ) :
a) Egnater M4 ( low noise, 3d/clear sound )
b) Egnater T/D ( 10 o?clock,off,9,11,11,2)
c) Egnater Erect ( 10 ,on,9,11,0,12)
d) Randall Plexi ( 3 ,on,9,9,9,1)
e) Randall Xtc ( 8 ,on,9,9,7,12)
f) Randall 1086 ( 12 ,on,11,12,7,left,1)
I like clear/3d/pristine sound but not esterile,
sweet high and not crisp,
warm and smooth mid but not dark and without articulation,
i like liquid gain ( always ON a boss cs3 humphrey mod and a rc booster ) and a to800 with the plexi ( and sometimes with the others gain pre ).
i don?t like fuzzys/buzzys gain ( i prefer articulation/definition )
can you help me ???
