May I throw in a vote for his RSC Plexi....It's the Plexi Steve Steven's used when using MTS...I have it and it's awesome...I'm sure he would make another...If Dave needed a refresher pic I could send him one...

The Brown Eye is basically a modified JMP. It's a little more scooped, has a little more top end and a hair more gain than a stock 1970's two input Master Volume JMP.
The Hairy Brown Eye has far more gain than the standard Brown Eye. It's also more "compressed" sounding. Because of the increased gain, it's also a little "tubbier" and bassy.
Both are more "modern" takes on a classic Marshall sound.

Usually I don't let one kinda tone push so many others out, but this Plexi is a monster....
How about this? I will whip together a very short demo since I've talked about the **** thing so much...YOu might as well hear it! Give me a couple hours...

Actually getting ready to do it now.....I use it with a slight boost but I'll show it both with and without....It actually gets quite clean...

It sounds to me like a higher gain Brown Eye and from that clip. I like it way more than the Hairy Brown Eye, which seemed "dark" and "compressed" at the higher gain settings, whereas this module sounded more open and tight.
Definitely a keeper!
