Hi Everyone,
I have a Randall Ultra module that I am using with a Syn50 head. Issue that I am having is that this module has a tremendous amount of gain and is touchy past 9' o'clock where it gets out of control (noise, squealing etc) if I turn much below 9' o' clock I lose the fullness of the tone. The module is somewhat modded with a .0022 cap in C3 and a switch for a 100pf or 250pf cap in C14.
What suggestions might ther be to reduce/tame the gain in this module (resistors etc) or is a 5751 tube in V1 a good option?
Thank you for any help
