SYN 2 Connect DAW and Amp

I'd like to connect my SYN 2 so that the DI output is going directly to my audio interface for my DAW. At the same time, I would like to have it hooked up to my combo amp to add channels. Is there any reason I can't or shouldn't have both of these setups simultaneously? The reasoning is that I will occasionally record from the combo amp but other times I will be recording direct and using WOS to add a virtual power amp and cabinets.

No issues. I always record both di out and miced cab with my syn2/syn5050 setup. Best of both worlds!
