    Toroidal transformers?

it can be done, but no one seems to want to make money doing this mod. I'm not sure the specs on the PT, i just bought an lighter amp.

Will there be new and improved modular amps?

That's a great idea a tube head that's just a power amp with a 2u rack space. You could market it to eleven rack, axe fx, and mts rack preamp owners. It would have to be lighter than the rm100, have a quasi SE option, something i'd like to see a punchy/deep switch that changed between to...

    so why a 5751 in the PI not a 12au7 or 12at7?

Some amps let you mute the signal to one side of the push pull giving a quozi SE power section. Your 12DW7 probably somewhat doing this, and in my opinion i love SE amps.

    rm100 squeals

a thought though i don't know if it's has any real merit. if it's drop c only than maybe something is resonating in the guitar with out enough string tension. what gauge strings do you use, have you tried a thicker strings gauge for lower tunings?

RM100 way better than Mark V.

The presence & density knob are a god send, without hanging channel settings i can quickly tune for the room. Once I start my new job I plan on buying the mark modules and will make some pro quality comparison videos. After some help on the boogie board I was able to tune in my mark v exactly...

RM100 way better than Mark V.

I notice a big difference with my Randall and different tubes combinations. Something about the mts stuff even with hi gain modules I retains a certain level of clarity.

RM100 way better than Mark V.

I've been tone chasing and my conclusion, nothing sounds as good as my RM100 even with stock modules. I realized after i bought the mark the tone clips i liked the best were actually modded modules. Not only that i can get close to a mark tone with my stock treadplate and a graphic eq. I'm just...

Will there be new and improved modular amps?

4 modules, just a series loop, toriodal pt transformed for lighter weight, 2 channel modules. I guess we could go with an M4 and if Bruce designed a rack power amp.

roszatycki so in your module does it act like it's clipping or work as a noise gate?

    Weight reduction rm100

When your friend who works construction for a living and has muscles yelps when he picks it up, what chance do wimpy guitarist have :D. 90% of the reason i bought the mark V, even though i've concluded the rm100 sounds better in many areas.

    Fender Modules

My tweed is like that, i have to turn up the channel volume up a lot more on it. The tweed is my other favorite stock module. Oddly my blackface is not like that, lots of output. It might be that i have active EMG that allow me to overdrive it. It doesn't overdrive much, and with a tube screamer...
