tonymustang302, be real interested to hear what you think as you now own both amps I am considering

    MTS versus Dual Recto

Being able to switch between 3 channels is plenty. Does the RM100 come with a footswitch to do this?

    MTS versus Dual Recto

So the RM100 is single channel only? I thought you used a footswitch to jump between the three modules in place. Is this not true? I though they were effectively 3 channel, but I am a newb as far as amp tech stuff goes.

    MTS versus Dual Recto

Thanks a lot. Negative comments about the RM100 are few and far between. Factor in no need for power tranny upgrade (when importing head from USA), flexibility, good tones at low volumes, lower cost and most importantly the tone I want can be achieved means the Randall is taking a lead. The...

Thanks, forgive my ignorance but what is the difference between Egnator and Randall?

    MTS versus Dual Recto

After much pondering I am now close to getting a head. I have narrowed it down to two, an RM100 or a Mesa Dual Recto. I have longed for a Dual Recto for many years but it was recently suggested that I look into the Randall MTS heads. I did and am now having second thoughts about the Recto. This...

    Input voltage

Waste01 how do you like the amp? I always dreamt of owning a Mesa Recto for the dark & evil yet smooth tones but can't see me paying $5200 for a head. Would the RM100 fit the bill? I guess that as the Rectos use 6L6 tubes and the RM100 uses EL34s (I think) would mean the RM100 is more on the...

    Input voltage

Hey Waste01, I gather you bought an RM100 from USA, had it freighted to Oz and started blasting. Is this the case? If so, maybe you could post the details of where you got it from and any duty payable etc etc (or pm me). I gather with the RM100 I would not have to cut the plug off as the power...

Thanks a lot. Mercury crop up a bit when this topic is mentioned. Why did you make the transformer mods you mentioned?

    Input voltage

I heard that the RM100M can be used with different supply voltages. I live in Australia (240V 50 Hz) and was wondering if an amp shipped from a store in USA or Canada could be used here without using a step down transformer. I would just have to get the power plug changed or use a simple power...
