basically, Adam D is the mesiah when it comes to making any bands tone crushing. He has a old mesa 4x12 recto that he records EVERYTHING out of. Just drops whoevers head onto it and leaves it like that. They are total Mesa whores and boost the 808's. Ive heard bands recordings before Adam...

Dan, have you tried the way i was running my amp as i posted in a thread? Max out the volume on the module and then put the master to what you want. Totally changes the character of the module and makes it more controllable and less compressed.

I thought that balancing out the amp was to get the best tone out of it. I heard what my amp sounded like before my amp tech "did the magic" and it sounds more brighter, meaner. He told me the bias settings and they were all different. That's the joy of these amps, infinite amount of ways to...

I'd get the match quad. Without a oscilliscope, the matched set will get you closest to having the "clean" wave, which equals the best sound.

I guess anywhere that caries tubes...just take the part number off the box and plug it in.

Hes talking about my ultra i sold him with the higher gain preamp tube.

Heres the box in the picture... I put it in V1 i think (the right side) of the module. Sounds killer. I had the module for sale with the tube but no one wanted it.

I went to chicago guitar and amp because he ordered every high gain pre-amp tube made...we then sat in front of the amp swapping and messing around and swapping. That's how I found the tube. It's badass aint it? And it doesnt Rip MY 6505 thats for sure...

In The Day that never comes....about 6:12-6:28 is the exact same thing as the "meow meow" song. A locol radio station put the meow meow song with that part and it was a perfect match. LoL
