thanks for the replys guys....i just bought a marshall 1960a cab because i needed a spare cab to leave at a different location and it was an ok deal, but i must say i HATE it !!!.. it makes the rm100 sound like a transistor radio.....i guess im gonna buy some super v's and put in it.

i mainly use expression for delay time and mix...and pitch....hope it works for pitch...i noticed the pitch on the g-major has pretty fast tracking..most units it was hard to play a bass an improvised bass line but the g does it pretty well..... did you get the rocktron?

im about to try the behringer FCB1010 Midi Foot Controller...expression pedals work for me,,

the only thing i ever used that was transparent that didnt cost a fortune was the intellifex... until i found the g-major...i think it is comparable to the intellifex.... great unit i really like it.. to me the chorus is better than the rocktron...really should check it out.... i bought mine...

i just got this head used off the board...so dont know much about the history of it.. only thing i did was replace a blown fuse with a 250v 3amp fuse (only one i had }....

i ended up using the series,, because of what jkd said. { desired effect ] or rather lack of....couldnt get enough delay or chorus without maxing everything out on the parallel loop... series is working great with the g-major.

i just popped in a new set of jj EL34L tubes and the problem is not there...just with 6l6 tubes....man thats weird... i didnt see anything wrong with the board...jkd did you fix yours yourself?...i dont see a list of service centers on randalls site unless i overlooked it..... will a different...

i have a xtc and recto module.,,willing to trade 1 for a sl+ or scary+cash

i may have to have it serviced,,i dont want itto takea crap on me live.

jkd...yea im a dummy... i manually found the post you suggested..you stated 400ma ? what about the rating?... there was one listed 5amp just for the main fuse but not the tube fuses.. the ones i looked at buying local were 250ma with a 2.5 amp rating.....what am i looking for here?..thanks

i have one socket that wont bias below 27ma ...i like to run mine cold like rectifiers to get a more spongy feel... i have a new set of ruby tubes 6l6 in there and tried others with no avail... is the pot broke?
