What I really want to know is it something that is easily fixed by an amp tech. Or am I better off just trying to get the seller to take it back. If I could get it repaired for $100 or less I might be more likely to keep it.

Yes the power tubes are glowing. I wonder if there is some internal fuse that is blown? I got the amp off ebay and the seller said it was working and he had checked the bias before he sent it. It was dropped hard enough that one of the power tubes was rattling like a blown light bulb.

I have other Jacksons. A RR24M and a SLATQH. I used to own a SL1 and a DK1 both with Floyds. Never got the hang of adjusting them let a lone the hassle of changing strings. From left to right Deep Met Red SLSMG, Cabo Blue USA SLS,Red flametop SLSMG,DX6, Flametop DXMGT, Ruby Red DXMGT.

I had the same issue with a new Clean module not fitting. I took back to my local Randall dealer and tried it in their amps and it would not fit. They got me a replacement in a couple weeks. This was to replace my original defective Clean module that I sent to Randall over 14 months earlier.

Modern module if I recall was designed around the Soldano.
