I'd be extremely interested in a Quickrod module. I just sold my Splawn and dedicated myself to the MTS route, It'd be nice to have the Splawn toen available in this setup again!

I meant can't be the speakers, sorry about that. I've just got a volume pedal at my house right now, so that's what I tried in the loop, as a pseudo attenuator. The pedal works perfectly in other situations and loops.

When I have the effects loop engaged, I can't channel switch with the footswitch, and the Blackface module is farting even on low volumes. Any ideas why this is happening? I'm running a Vader 2x12 capable of handling 240w BTW, so the farting issue can't be with underpowered speakers.

I haven't played many modules (I'm just getting into the MTS world). I really like The Judge clips I've heard though. Very Lynch/Demartini. Searing plexi vibe. If I was going for that kind of tone, that's definitely where I would go.

The Rebel has a cool tone going on, although I'm not sure I'd want to replicate it in a mod, just because of all the other options available. Cool that you like it though. Very chewy lead sound with the one I played.

I checked out these guys because of this thread. Cool stuff. More traditional song structures than Tool. Still heavy though. Keenan reminds me of a very angsty Gord Downie, of The Tragically Hip.

Love his tone, and Tool's approach to Prog Metal, but I can only take them a few songs at at time.

This is a very interesting mod.

Just from clips it sounds right up my alley. It retains a Marshall base, but it's voiced a little more modern, ala recto's and MK-era Boogies. Some of the clips remind me of a more aggressive, thicker version of Anthrax's guitar tone around Among The Living. I'm trying to find something that...

What do you guys think of the module? How versatile is it, and how clean can it get? What modules have you guys sold in favour of the Chupacabra? Why?

As much as I love lynch and gilbert, Kotzen is by far my favorite player out of the three. Chops to burn, and I find him really tasteful and slippery. Phenomenal singer/songwriter too. Kind of like if chris Cornell sang motown songs.
