Everyone wants to know.... this must be hot on the heels of the 5150I-II-and III that you have built. Any pics or info available yet?

I'd call it about 75% along. I have yet to decide on the final options group for it, the art is underway and I need to find a day to benchmark it against my friends Quick Rod for a second round of tuning.

I actually made a last minute decision to hold back on shipping the first EV Trilogy mods to try a few last minute circuit revisions I decided on. Just waiting on a few special parts to arrive and will have those out next week. Sorry for those impacted by the delay, but it will be WELL worth it.

I have a few really exciting things in the works for my business (some formal announcements will be made once everything is in place and I can make it official) and it's certainly a time of growth here. I officially brought my first regular employee on the books this week and we are putting a good sized dent in the backlog already (many of the next round of mods will be shipping in around 1 week). I am working all day on all the repairs that are in the shop (several of your RM series amps, a 5150, a Mesa 20/20 and an Ampeg SVT) and will be back to modules Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks again to all of you for your continued support and patience during our growth, as you make it all possible. Have a great weekend and go play those amps!

Qickmod!!! That's what I suggested, too
(Great minds think alike)
I await the EV trilogy, but tweak away as long as needed.

If I have room for one other replica module, this one I think will be it. Very interested in this over the 5153 for some reason. I dig the sounds of the quickrods I have heard on youtube. People complain that the amps are too bright.. I hope this module is too!Love me my bright cutting tones.

Ive heard Steve Stevens fame "billy idol" use a quick rod live. I about creamed myself, that amp has a great modded Marshall tone.
But SS has great skills also.
I'm gonna have to try this mod also, Rob says he's still a little ways out, After the trilogy is done.

The Trilogy is finalized and the most over the top creation I have ever constructed. I did a shootout for my entire band and my oldest customer last night against a 5150 block letter, my 6505+ and the Trilogy. All five of them found it as close as can be, as did I. Not easy to mimic 5-6 gain stages with 4 (my head is still pounding from calculating circuit gains), but I am proud of this one for sure. Pics will be up ASAP and I'll try to have clips by the weekend. It's insanely loaded with features.

The Quick Mod is up next.....

I think he used that before the Friedman stuff he is using now. Still though, the Splawns deliver the goods! He had that along with a custom audio amp and a variplex.... tons of tone options for him.

oh yeah, he along with the other great 80's axe slingers, use amps like clothes. I saw in his 6 head road case, the splawn, modded plexi's, a Marsha, and the others I couldnt see.
My best friend actually has one of his personal guitars, and ghost build's his washburn and hamer signature guitars.
I have a left handed version, that I helped in the build and luthier processes as well. They are very comfy guitars. :D

I'd be extremely interested in a Quickrod module. I just sold my Splawn and dedicated myself to the MTS route, It'd be nice to have the Splawn toen available in this setup again!

Just saw SS in Manhattan with Sebastian, Pete Thorn and drum god Anton Fig. He was using the Suhr Badger as was PT. They both had CAE PT 100's for backup's I assume. SS also uses a Roccaforte Custom 18 and I believe that Freidman has a new amp coming out designed for SS. Great great player and super nice guy.

Never seen him play a Splawn but I am sure he has those too. If Rob is reading this how about a quickrod/nitro switch. I will let you use my Nitro to work on it??? What ya say?

They "suhr" like those badger amps eh? Sounds like those badgers have the mojo. God knows they cost enough.

That's awesome dude, you should let rob look at it. I actually was just talkin to Rob earlier this week about that very request, of adding the nitro tone into the mod as well. I think there will be many others who would like this option as well.
I saw SS with the splawn years ago, there's a clip of him using one on the splawn site as well.

I'd certainly entertain it. Email me and we can discuss it.
