    phase issues when layered guitars

re reading your message, are the car speakers in phase? Have you listened to it in other systems? is any of the guitar tracks using any modulation? are the bass track in phase? (they could be messing up your perception of the guitar)

    phase issues when layered guitars

There's always a bit of latency when you 'reamp' or run any audio through any circuit (analog can be worse than your case) try to magnify all the waves and see if the peaks and valleys of the audio match. make small adjustments and listen. (start 2 at the time and when you are happy, ad the 3rd...

RM4 with Grail and Recto modules...

Cheers guys, thanks for the warm welcome. I've actually checked some posts and youtube videos by Mattfig and they just worsen my GAS... Really cool and informative. Got to admire the guy's efforts. And talking about power sections... do you think it's really necessary to use a EL84 power...

RM4 with Grail and Recto modules...

Just bought them off Harsh, the forum member (really cool guy). Took them to my studio and plugged them to my Mesa Boogie Mark 3 simul class power output. These modules sound amazing. I think I'm in trouble now though. I'm thinking I also want the Matchvox, the Twinface and the Salvado...

    The best wah pedals

M0jo: 'What I like a lot is the long sweep on it! Wah more than the *thunk* to *thunk* problem I allways have with crybabies! I agree with M0jo's opinion on the Crybaby's response evn though that 'thunk' effect may be what you are after for certain percussive effects. About the long sweep...

    The best wah pedals

I used to own a standard crybaby. Endless problems with dirty pots. The frequency range was wide (too wide). The low end was useless and the top end was just a screeching noise. Also the transition between high and low was too sudden. The only realistic aplication for it was the Barry White sort...

    Iommi's Laney?

Hi Julia (and everybody else) I think Iommi's sound changed over the years. I dont really know what he used in the 90's. Personally I really like his sound in the live and loud video of ozzy when sabbath join him on stage and play black sabbath. From the audio clips of the laney gh100ti i've...

Module or mod for JCM800 2203 tone

I would think that you have the final choice of rating/not rating his videos. You can take what you need (or nothing at all) from any piece of information you encounter in your way. Sorry for hijacking the thread with youtube issues. Going back to the 2203, I own 2 of them. One is a 1978 JMP...

Module or mod for JCM800 2203 tone

Sorry guys but I also wanna support The Tone King on this one. His playing is crap and i think he knows it. Ok sometimes, half of his videos are about him chatting away (I got sick of his beloved EMG 81/85s). And the audio quality is below par. In spite of all that, i feel it's a labour of...

    New to this forum,

Hi everybody Im new here, so I'd just like to say hi to everyone. I've just discovered this and I notice that there are a few members who are also in the boogie board. I take that as a good sign since that forum and its users have been decisive in my acquisition of a boogie mark III. Even...
