    SYN2 with Helix MIDI

You can do it that way; Send a preset change command, change the channel on the syn 1/2 to the preamp channel you want, and click save. Or you can can set up the CC (continous controller commands) of which you'll need four of set up if you have two modules... on second thought, forget that, the...

    SYN1 in Mesa TC-50 loop?

Series loop = you're good. Mesa power sections sound good, so it should be... well... all good. :)

    SYN2 with Helix MIDI

It's not that hard at all my friend. You can have it send a channel/patch change message, say, via a specified midi channel, or change it via the midi-logic expressed in the manual for CC commands. I do it through snap-shot states.

BB/BE, OS and Savage modules in stock at Sweetwater

No, it effects the tone a bit too. It effects the feel in part by acting as a high-pass filter as well as whatever else it does; fender/setting-1 doesn't filter any low end, boutique/setting-3 filters a bit out, and marshall/setting-2 seems to filter the most bass out. with the HBE set to its...

    Syn 2 + Syn 2

Yeah dude, 4 loops = 4 different preamp units, and in this case syn2 units. I got a syn2 in one loop, an e570 in another, a gp3 in another. Can run several simultaneously, switch channels and/or preamps in the snapshots/scenes with a click of a footswitch and go from clean/chorus/reverb to...

    Syn 2 + Syn 2

I run several preamps in the loops of a Helix Rack, and that makes switching the channels (and different preamps) super convenient and easy. :)

    Vai and synergy

If they're all slated for this year, this will be the year that puts Synergy on the map. Rock and metal guys who aren't big on the modeling craze will have a reason to look seriously at the platform

Holy Cr*p! 7 (!) New modules in that Steve Vai Video !

also, didn't catch it on my first viewing, but there's two friggin' XTC modules; regular and a (may have misread) a 20th anniversary option. so two Versions of the XTC and an Uberschall. Those two/three and the powerball are high on my list. If I didn't already have a special edition engl...

Holy Cr*p! 7 (!) New modules in that Steve Vai Video !

Therein lies the crux of it all, right? "if they build them... and ship them to dealers, they will come." or something like that. :)

Holy Cr*p! 7 (!) New modules in that Steve Vai Video !

At the very beginning they did a pan of a bunch of Syn2s and there was a friggin' XTC, Uberschall, Engl Savage and Powerball (the powerball is SUPER exciting to me!) a friggin' Fryette Pitbull, and the dumble OS and Friedman BB/BE that we were expecting. Man o' man, THESE are the modules I've...

    Winter NAMM 2019?

Yeah man, for realz. I would probably buy all four as those are all amazing amps... If they were to be released in a timely fashion. Ola had a working Savage like 3 months ago, so if all four are as far along as the Savage is maybe there's hope?

New Synergy Owner: Questions, Comments & Complaints Insi

on point #2; It is noisier than the SLO, and in my own experience a fair bit more so. To the point that I talked with Synergy customer support about it. I was told each of the high-gain modules have their own unique noise floor as Peter D, Dave F, and Mike S all designed each one and exhibits...

Jaded Faith's explanation above from that thread was great. Learned a ton in those few short paragraphs. :D
