    Foglifters are in the house

    compare/contrast SL2 with EG3/4 and EG5?

thanks for the suggestion, but as i understand it, since i want a dual channel mod (i have a mod 50 and don't want to give up that flexibility), i'd have to get a dual mod and then send it in for the mark X, which sounds pricey... was hoping to go with a stock dualie.

    compare/contrast SL2 with EG3/4 and EG5?

i am on a mod expansion spree and looking for one more gain-y dual channel mod to round it out. i have the VX, Bman, COD and SL2. I want something that will be like a high-gain COD - rich in mids, but tighter in the lows, and more aggressive. are the EG3/4 or EG5 it? maybe the EG3/4x?

    best practice on switching modules?

just curious if there's special guidance on switching modules in a short space of time. for example, should i power down the amp, switch modules, then wait 5-10 minutes before powering up again? or can i power up again while it's still warm?
