I'm on the fence, i want something lighter. Can you contrast this with the RM100 head? I'll just build my own power amp

The RM4 weighs about 20 lbs also has 1 more channel than the RM100 head.

does it have more clarity than say the head when used with the somethign like an rt2/50?

It was meant to use with the RT2/50- so it is more versatile because of the different tube modes etc that can be switched. So more clarity will be achieved by being able to match the correct module with tube type - ex PLexi with el34's or Grail with 6LG's

People say the RM4+RT2/50 combo is the best sounding of the MTS.
I've only compared to an RM100, sounded more alive and tubey to me (although that could be 50w vs. 100w ..)
