4 ohm amp int 16 ohm speaker cabinet?

I have a Randall Amp (RG 300) with two 4 ohm speaker outputs, can this be connected to my 16 ohm cabinet (2 8 ohm speakers) without any modification?

Yes...your randall is a MINIMUM 4 ohm load. You could hook that cab up no problem. I had my V2 with the same output configuration pushing 2 16 ohm 4x12 cabs.

****, this must mean my head isn't working then. I just got the RH 150 used from American Music Supply and it doesnt work with my 8ohm cab or the other one I tried it with.
