kbause...went to the link and it's over...ALTHOUGH...mention of 4 mods available...did they all sell?? ...sorry, not an ebay addict so I don't know

just message him on here.

Randall3 is his name, you can make a deal with him.

Seriously more than worth it for the price he's asking.

Mine was brand new in box.

Awesome! Thanks alot gents! I'll definitely get in touch with him. Just brought back the V2 this morning and was told the lynch should be here by Oct 17th ... ish ... so just waiting now!

btw, just wanted to thank everyone for the guidance, suggestions, everything. If the world wasn't so **** big, I'd buy ya's all a brew at the local pub! :D

here's your amp- i guessing you want clean mid gain and high gain? clean -blackface no doubt but since you need a lynch signature module get the super v- i'm assuming this will be your least used module?- mid gain get a 1086, it does both mid gain and high gain and has two voicings for each as well as a gain boost, plus with gain boost on and the mid switch to the left it is the meanest, best sounding most brutal high gain pre amp randall has to offer , it doesn't have the most gain but whats there is enough to vouch for what i described and its very quiet as well, so in one module you get your mid and high gain tone, for mid gain it does a plexi sound pretty well, ok one more to go probably another high gainer why not  ultra maybe it has the most gain but is also noisey ultra xl almost the same module maybe a bit more mids but same gain and noise ( these sound 5150 ish) kh-3 good high gainer , very 5150 ish not as much gain as an ultra but less noise very brutal , wide eq range, but i think the 1086 can do this tone a little better while not being so dry in the midrange. xtc is also a good choice- decent gain and a good lead tone plus you could always get it modded. if it were me i'd go , super v , 1086 , ultra

Thanks maximus. I was also quite interested in the modded XTC after listening to sound clips. The lead sounds were impressive! I know I'll end up getting one eventually :) ...and I did lock the purchase in with the super v., 1086 and ultra.

Has anyone ever modded the Ultra? Was it ever needed? ...just curious...
