Seriously considering one in early November. Probably the same great sounding 50 watt HotRod Marshall type head. Same cost as last time $1600. Location will be in Royal Oak, MI.
Anyone interested? May limit the class size to 4 people. Possibly do two different weekends if interest is there.

I have played one of the seminar heads and was floored. I loved that amp!

I would be interested but would need to close a few big sales at work to pay for it. I hope it works out for you. I would love to see some more of those heads out there in the wild.

I'm officially in. Anyone else?

If I had the jack I would be all over this. The seminar head I played was easily one of the best Marshall'ish tones I have ever heard.

As am I good sir. Shoot me an email and let's make some plans while we are in town. I already got the ball rolling with some of the boys up in Michigan.

I'd go but I'll have a broken leg from upcoming surgery, so... I kind of can't.

That sounds like a horrible kind of surgery. :(

I was born with some orthapedic issues in my feet that cause horrible pain. This is the second surgery I'm having. My foot is going to be mangled in hopes that structural reconstruction can help me not be in a lot of pain..

...yea, it sucks, but that's my life. ;/

Wow, sorry to hear that. Mojo sent.

Considering I am only about an hour's drive from this class, I should go, but I know nothing about electronics and soldering. :?

Most of the people who have attended knew nothing about electronics or soldering before. Guess what...they went home knowing a heck of a lot more than they ever expected after just one weekend. If you have an interest in amps but are concerned it will be "over your head", don't worry. You won't fail and you will go away with a feeling of accomplishment and a great sounding amp that you built.

Very interested, and great value, but can't justify the funds right now. Maybe sometime in the future. A trip to the Grand Canyon with the Mrs comes first...

I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery.

I?m officially intimidated, but it will be great to meet in person and possibly do some hanging out. I touched base with the Fig, but I think he is unavailable that weekend. An email will be out to you shortly.

The most I have done with a soldering iron is wire up a speaker cabinet. I have very little knowledge of what?s going on inside an amplifier. THAT is why I?m going. If funds aren?t the major issue, I think you should attend.

Weekend of my wife's birthday. Let's just say it's a significant b-day and I have plans.

Otherwise, I would be totally in. It bums me out that all you cats are in town on one of the few weekends I can't be here.

Next time!
