If I could get the time off of work (and could afford said time off) I would be there in a heartbeat. I started a small business almost 3 years ago and thankfully business is now starting to pick up.

Consider me very interested in future classes.

Have you guys decided where your staying? I'm going to start calling the hotels on the list that Bruce sent. I'm leaning toward the first one on the list although it's likely the most expensive. Thoughts?

I went off the list and I'm staying at The Westin Southfield, probably one of the more expensive around the Detroit area. I have a Preferred Guest card with Starwood Hotels & Resorts through my company, I should be getting a free night.

Yes, The Westin Michigan Ave./Chicago is $219 a night. So, the $133 didn't scare me off - I'm hoping one of the nights is a free night. Being a bit west is nice for me too, coming from Chicago.

I just found out about this and don't have the ability to go this time, but I'm very interested and may be able to make a future event 6 months from now (if offered).

I'd like more information about the class. What we should bring, what hours of the day it will be from and to, stuff like that would be great.

I'd go but I'll have a broken leg from upcoming surgery, so... I kind of can't.

That sounds like a horrible kind of surgery.

I was born with some orthapedic issues in my feet that cause horrible pain. This is the second surgery I'm having. My foot is going to be mangled in hopes that structural reconstruction can help me not be in a lot of pain..


...yea, it sucks, but that's my life. ;/

Mojo sent as well. I was in a car accident in March 2007 where my right leg got mangled. Still feels like I have a constantly spranged ankle. So I feel your pain, but not nearly as long as you have. Hope the surgery works for you.
