I just bought a RM100C and I am really digging the sounds. I was looking for a way to record without shaking the house. I purchased a AxeTrak isolation cabinet. It is rated at 75 watts and of coarse the RM100C is 100 watts.

Is there a big sound difference in the RM100C dimed or with the master volume backed off? If there is, would you recommend an attenuators or pulling the outside tubes? I know some of the attenuators suck some tone. I was looking at the Weber and the Gibson (made by THD).

I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks,

K

you should be ok..

i mean, you would have to DIME the master volume, to really push the 100watts...or you could pull the inner 2 or outter 2 power tubes, split the ohm load for you speaker out, and definitely be ok then with the power rating.

Thanks paintkilz. I will try it, the worst thing that could happen is I blow the fuse on the Axetrak.
