Cages and shields

Hey, quick question, is it alright if I remove the module's tube cages and take the shields off of the preamp tubes in the RM100? Are there some unforeseen consequences in doing this? I'm not moving the head at all, it just chills on top of my cab in my room (if that's a concern).

It would certainly make things a lot easier and quicker for swapping tubes in and out...

The module cages I think I might start taking those off, but the ones in the head I'm more worried about, cuz they practically hold those tubes in.
