J JKD Well-known member Joined Apr 3, 2007 Messages 5,021 Reaction score 0 Location NorCal Feb 4, 2009 #2 duet = 2 tubes quartet = 4 tubes You need a matched quartet for an RM100 or 2 matched duets 'Hard' refers to the rating...a hard tube will have parameters that mean it will break up/distort later (I think.)
