Egnater dual module question (newbie)

I joined this mts world during the Randall era, and I didn’t get into duals until I had a synergy syn1. Picked up a few of the older egnater dual modules and have a few questions that I can’t easily find the answer to.

The BRIGHT and BASS BOOST switches in basic terms:

1) Are they ‘global’ to both channels?

2) Is 0 considered off and 1 one choice and 2 a second choice?

I realize these are basic questions, but I just want to be sure my mind understands what my ears seem to hear.

1) Yes, they are part of the first gain stage for both channels

2) Yes, 0 - NORMAL, 1 - LEVEL 1, 2- LEVEL 2

i.e. if 1 is BRIGHT then 2 is BRIGHTER
