The EG3/4 is based on channels 3 and 4 of the Egnater TOL and IE4 and is a tweaked high gain Marshall sound.

The EG5 was kind of like the MHG with more ids and highs .
Some said it had a kind of Soldano-ish vibe to it
I had one long ago but it got sold as I didn't use it much

The EG3/4 have a darker smokier vibe to them - kind of good for a lead player that wants a smoother tone

There was a small mod for the EG3/4 called the EG3/4x that gave a bit of top end back in the mix (swapping out a cap value on the tube board)
