Hi,

Newbie to the mod world. Just starting to learn about the egnater stuff. How does this mod compare to the EG5? Just as heavy? more versatile?

Hello. I had the EG5 and liked it, but the MHG is just better in my opinion. It is like the EG5 with more gain capabilities. So with 2 channels, you should be able to get the sound of a EG5 if you want on one channel and then a much bolder sound on the 2nd channel.

correct me if I'm wrong: 2 channels are only available on Egnater amps, on Randall channel 1 will be the active
